As a longtime resident of the DC area and a big nostalgia buff, I decided to get a ticket to Sunday’s DC United game at RFK Stadium as it’s likely to be the last sporting event ever held in the historic 57-year-old concrete donut. I’m planning on getting there early to wander the stadium, take some pics, and look around a bit.
Anything any fellow capital-area opponauts want me to get pics of/look at/go to while I’m there?

Back in the early 2000s when DC United was actually good, those games were a blast. Also saw the MLS cup and GRC there as well. GRC was the last time I was there and I couldn’t believe how much that place was falling apart.

Didn’t know about the game there this Sunday.. might have to check out tickets! One of my good friends younger brother plays on the dc united academy team and they have a practice facility directly next to RFK (basically in the parking lot of it).
